Nice jacket

De winterjas is een mooi product, houdt goed warm en heeft goede sluitingen, vooral de flap rond de buik is nice. Helaas valt de kraag bij mijn hond erg ver naar achteren op zijn schouders. Dit komt m.i. deels door de snit maar ook door het model van mijn hond. Hij is een buitenlandse mix met wat lijkt bodenka, windhond en foxterrier eigenschappen waardoor hij erg lang en slank is met een lange hals. Ondanks dat ik dus een groot model ivm lengte moet nemen kan het jasje door de buikflap toch goed aan zitten rond zijn zeer smalle taille. Ook de flap voor past prima om zijn borst. Helaas blijft alleen de bovenkant van zijn nek dus onbedekt, de kraag naar voren vouwen los het niet echt op omdat die zo niet zo goed blijft zitten; ook niet als ik zijn bandana er om heen knoop. Het gat voor het aanhaken van de riem op zijn tuig zit daarentegen nog net iets te veel naar voren maar het gaat net. Als het jasje meer in de nek aan zou sluiten zou het gat niet gepast hebben omdat het dan te veel naar voren zit terwijl het tuig meer op de rug sluit. Dus daar zou ik qua ontwerp nog eens naar kijken. Maar het is zeker geen ramp en verder zit het jasje prima en zo lijkt het comfortabel dus we zijn er toch heel blij mee. Hij heeft er een uur mee in de regen gelopen en het kan zeker een bui hebben waarbij de fleece aan de binnenkant nog niet nat was, al is het niet uren regenbestendig denk ik. Al met al raadt ik dit jasje aan omdat ik zeker denk dat het voor veel honden geschikt is.
